Miami Spy Games by Armand Rosamilia

Miami Spy Games (Episode One)Miami Spy Games by Armand Rosamilia
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The serial seems to be making a comeback. Armand Rosamilia's Miami Spy Games is a slick mulit-genre affair that allows non-traditional zombie fans a chance to experience something special.

The opening salvo smartly uses real events like the man who had his face eaten off to add the sense of reality into the story. This is "ripped from the headlines" fiction at its best. Rosamilia weaves in an espionage angle that had me waiting for the appearance of Michael Weston, Sam, and Fiona.

The cover is inviting and may even snag a few non-zombie fans who do not see the "Russian Zombie Gun" subtitle. My guess is that the fast-paced action and the well written story will have them hooked before they know what hit them.

With some excellent offerings out there like "White Space" opening the door on a fantastic genre, this is a great entry that deserves attention. Can't wait for the next episode.
