So, as the DEAD series comes to a conclusion (the proper one, not the new spin off Snapshot series which is just getting started), that means that my That Ghoul Ava series will become a big priority. I am excited to spend more time with my favorite ghoul, but, there was the issue of covers. The early books had some confusion swirling around them when ti came to the appearance.
Based on the early covers, there was a misconception that my That Ghoul Ava series might be a YA title.
So, after a few conferences with my Ava fans and my amazing cover artist from the DEAD series, we started to fix things. The first thing we needed was to come up with her basic image and a logo that would carry over. It COULD NOT look YA. With that in mind Ava's first makeover was born.
From there, it has been a steady process of Andy recovering the series.
And now I believe we are on the right track.
It is starting to look like Ava has a new face and direction. And so, I am thrilled to reveal the new Ava coming at the end of the year. Or, at least I am excited to reveal the cover!
